With Today being the 14th of February 2012 Saint Valentines Day, We thought we would share with your some research conducted by Fitbit UK. According to their research of 2,000 people in the UK almost a third consider sex to be a part of their personal exercise regime..
So have we become a nation of Sexercisers!!
One in ten have permanently swapped the gym for the bedroom by replacing all other forms of exercise with steamy sessions with their partner. The younger generation is far more likely to consider sex a sport, with four in ten fitting it into their regime and two in ten completely substituting exercise for sex.
Not only can it help people keep fit, Sexercise is also the perfect way for Brits to relax before going to bed according to the research by Fitbit, after reading (38%), sex (28 per cent) and exercise (20 per cent) are the recommended prelude to a good night’s Kip.
“Many people think that doing the right level of exercise has to involve arduous sessions at the gym or thrice weekly sports games. In fact, walking to and from work, a trip around the shops or, as this research shows, some energetic sex, all add up to your five a week.”
