I first saw the Lebert Equalizer on the website of F-I-T.org a company based in Cheltenham who had just got their first shipment of products from Lebert Fitness, this included the Lebert Equalizer and the Lebert Buddy system.
I was intrigued to learn more so had a good look through their website and they had posted loads of interesting YouTube videos about the kit and also a link to the main Lebert Fitness website based in Canada.
A brief history to Lebert Fitness and creator Mark Lebert;
Mark a Personal trainer, a Black belt in Taekwondo and a international speaker, was looking for a way to be able to perform a bodyweight pull up at home or in a group setting.. So he set about designer what would become the Equalizer.

The Equalizer, works as an agility ladder, a bodyweight trainer, great for group training, schools, martial arts conditioning, and is quickly become a favourite for health and fitness boot camps. Once the equalizer was developed more and more exercise ideas were developed this also led Mark on to develop two further products the Lebert Buddy System and the Lebert stretch strap.
So when Mike from F-I-T asked me if I would like to review the kit for Fitness Blogger UK I was really excited…
For the review I would be using the kit as a home user, when the kit arrived the first thing you have to do is assembly the bars. This is not difficult and with the alan key provided they are soon up and running. (Make sure you get the legs straight before tightening fully)
So how best for a Fitness Novice like myself to test out the unique and highly versatile training tool?
