| Britain’s elite athletes are going head to head with the best from across the world at the World Athletics Championships in Daegu, including defending World Champions Jessica Ennis and Phillips Idowu, World Indoor 60m champion Dwain Chambers, World Indoor and Outdoor 800m medallist Jenny Meadows, double European Champion Mo Farah, European and Commonwealth Champion Andy Turner, as well as rising young stars Andrew Osagie, Perri Shakes Drayton and Holly Bleasdale. The 13th World Championships in Athletics is an international athletics competition currently being held in Daegu, South Korea. It started on 27 August and is scheduled to finish on 4 September 2011.
