Nutritionist Azmina Govindji dispells maritime myths as she encourages the nation to reach their two-a-week target of fish portions.

A recent survey from Lyons Seafoods show that almost half the UK are not getting the recommended amount of fish in their diets.

Studies have shown how important the Omega-3 fatty acids can be and research shows that omega-3 reduces inflammation and may help lower the risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease, cancer, and arthritis.


Azmina an independent award-winning nutritionist, dietitian, and health writer who is often seen on our TV screens with programmes such as "This Morning" and "The One Show"

DNA asked Azmina to help raise public awareness and try to persuade more people to consider cooking fish at home.

Azmina headed to billingsgate market and set about dispelling some of the nations Fish Fears!
